Information about civil drones (Unmanned aircraft)

As of 31.12.2020, EU Regulations 2019/947 and 2019/945 set the framework for the safe operation of unmanned aircraft (hereinafter referred to as drones) in European skies (EU and EASA Member States). Drones are divided into different categories and classes: Drones of the brand Revell Control are usually toys according to EU Directive 2009/48/EC, which correspond to the category “OPEN/A1”, class “C0”.

Therefore, these drones and/or their operators are usually not subject to registration.
When purchasing, check the information on the packaging to make sure which class the drone is in.
