The HMS Victory was a Royal Navy liner equipped with 104 cannons, laid keel in 1759 and put into service in 1765. She became known above all as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. In 1922 she was transferred to a dry dock in Portsmouth and thus remained as a museum ship. Since October 2012 she has been the flagship of the First Sealord and thus the oldest naval ship still in operation in the world.
