Model Set Patrol Torpedo Boat PT-160

During World War II, the U.S. Navy used PT patrol boats to monitor the islands of the Pacific, which are characterized by reefs and atolls. Some crews individualized their boats and decorated them with the unusual "nose arts" known from bombers and fighter planes of the same time.
