Revell Modellbau: Email Color - for an impressively realistic color design

Revell offers hobbyists and young engineers the opportunity to recreate historic vehicles and aircraft in detail. Of course, the color design of the model also plays a decisive role. A design that is as realistic as possible is the goal of every model builder. For this reason, Revell Modellbau has developed the Email Color. This is a synthetic resin enamel varnish that is sold in handy 14 ml cans. The paints do not attack the plastic surface of the models and are therefore ideal for painting the filigree components. A wide range of colours, different effects and easy application make the enamel colour so popular with Revell fans.

The right colour for every model

The Revell range includes a total of 88 different colours. With the exception of the signal colours, these can be mixed with each other as desired, so that the hobbyist has an almost infinite number of possible colours at his disposal. The Enamel Color is also available with exciting effects. With an interplay of silk-matt, glossy, matt and metallic surfaces, the painted models look amazingly realistic and well thought-out. Thanks to the thinner, it is also easy to achieve lower coverage. In addition to the classic individual doses, Revell's range includes thematically sorted sets, for example a military paint kit. In this way, the perfect colour is always at hand and nothing stands in the way of detailed model design!

How to apply the enamel color correctly

A very special highlight of the Enamel Color is that it can be applied not only with the conventional brush. Mixed with the Color Mix thinner, the modeler can also apply them with an airbrush gun. This proves to be an enormous advantage, especially for the uniform coloring of larger areas. Airbrushing is a precise and efficient method, but it is not only practical, but also great fun. Basically, you have to be careful not to mix the enamel color colors with other color series from the manufacturer. However, over a dried layer of Aqua Color, the surface can easily continue to be designed with the Enamel Color.

After the cheerful coloring pleasure, it is finally necessary to professionally clean the brush and spray gun. For this purpose, the special Revell cleaner Painta Clean is used, which ensures that the paint comes off completely and that nothing sticks to the brush or clogs the gun.

Tip: Sometimes it makes sense to apply the paint before assembling. This means that even the smallest corners can be reached without any problems.

Revell not only has useful cleaners, but also a variety of different brushes in its range. Always provided with high-quality brush hair, the models are available in a wide variety of thicknesses and sizes. In this way, even the most filigree strokes can be executed cleanly.
