Aqua Color - single colours and sets for perfect models

Assembling high-quality Revell models is just the beginning. However, the plane, helicopter, ship or figure is only completed with the coloured paint. To this end, the manufacturer's wide range of products includes intensive aqua colour colours for the various model building creations.

Aqua Color for radiantly beautiful results

There are a total of 88 Aqua Color shades. The spectrum ranges from clear to matt and semi-gloss to glossy or metallic opaque colours. White and black as classic nuances await as well as various shades of yellow, green, blue and red. Furthermore, model building fans can choose from several shades of brown as well as some gold and silver. The latter two colour variants belong to the metallic opaque colours. If you are not sure which tones are required for which model, simply take a look at the respective product description of the model kit that needs to be painted. There, Revell clearly shows the required nuances. You don't necessarily have to stick to the instructions - everyone decides for themselves how they want to paint their models.

The great advantages of Aqua-Color paints

Revell's Aqua Color paints are high-quality acrylic paints that come with numerous advantages. Each colour is filled into a practical container with a capacity of 18 millimetres and can be processed wonderfully.

One of the greatest advantages of the paints is that they can be thinned with water. They can also be mixed together to bring out even more detailed nuances for certain details of the particular model.

The convincing quality of Aqua Color paints is also reflected in the basic characteristics: They are mild-smelling paints that contain almost no organic solvents and are non-flammable.

Furthermore, Aqua Color inspires with its short drying time. It usually only takes two to three hours for the paint used to dry through. After just one hour, there is the option of painting over a color.

Tip: Aqua Color paints and enamel colors can be easily coated on top of each other after the correct drying time. However, they must not be mixed with each other. By the way, after six hours, applied enamel color paint is ready to be painted over with another enamel color color or an aqua color color.

Use Aqua Color for airbrushing

Aqua Color paints are also suitable for airbrushing. It is important to be careful not to dilute them too much. Guideline: a maximum of 20 to 25 percent water. To achieve a really beautiful result, it is advisable to dilute the colours with Aqua-Color-Mix.
The Aqua Color Mix delays drying. This prevents the respective paint from drying too quickly in the spray gun. It is important to clean the spray gun with water immediately after use. In an emergency, Airbrush Clean ensures cleanliness.
Processing Colors with a Brush

If you want to process Aqua Color colors with a brush, you will benefit from the enormous spreadability and high opacity of the tones. After careful brushing, smooth surfaces are revealed - the result is almost as good as with airbrushing and also comparable to the result achieved by enamel color paints.

Buy single colors or sets online

Revell offers the Aqua-Color paints as individual elements and also as combined sets. The sets are intended for certain models - for example, civil or military aircraft. Thanks to the wealth of information and assistance in the shop, it is easy to quickly get the desired Aqua Color colors.
