This medium armoured fighting vehicle, about 16,000 of which were built from 1938 onwards, was the main combat and transport vehicle used by the German mechanised infantry in the Second World War. The armoured half track was equipped with two MG 42s and optionally with a rocket launcher 40. This rocket launcher was also known as the "Infantry Stuka". The vehicle, that was 5.8 m long and had a speed of 50 km/h, is authentically reproduced in fine detail with 171 individual parts. The easy-to-assemble chassis is completed by injection moulded tracks. In addition to filigree tools the kit includes a complete rocketlauncher 40 with separate projectiles and wooden boxes. |
